21 November, 2009 –

RIMT Institutions organized a workshop on Ethical Hacking & Information Securities on 21st & 22nd November ’09 in collaboration with Techniche IIT Guwahati. The workshop was conducted by a team of  IIT Delhi Alumni venture Kyrion Digital Securities Ltd., New Delhi at RIMT Maharaja Aggrasen Engineering College. The workshop was organized by Mr. Harpreet Khattar,      co-ordinated by Mr. Janu Gandhi & Mr. Chetan Soni and conducted by Mr. Rajat Garg, Mr. Sangeet Chopra & Mr. Tejinder Pal Singh Kalsi. Almost 125 students  from various institutions of RIMT Group participated in this grand workshop which included RIMT- MAEC, RIMT-IET, RIMT-Regional, RIMT-IMCT etc & many other nearby institutes. All the faculty members & students came to know how to secure themselves from the attacks performed by the hackers & terrorists etc. This was a complete workshop of 16 hours in consecutive 2 days. After the completion of the workshop each student was awarded with the complete software toolkit & a Techniche IIT Guwahati certificate for participating in the workshop. The workshop was inaugurated by the worthy Chairman Sh. Hukam Chand Bansal & respected Principal RIMT-IET Dr. Harsh Sadawarti & Principal RIMT-MAEC Dr. Pritpal Singh. The workshop deliberated in length on the tactics of securing our networks and information to block all the external cyber flaws. This information exchange will deliberately make our youth to fight against the increasing terror & cyber crimes.
