RIMT-Maharaja Agrasen Engineering College, Mandi Gobindgarh hosted a pool campus placement drive by New Delhi based Era Group for B.Tech Civil engineering students passing out in the year 2011.

Chairman of RIMT Group of Institutions, Dr. Hukam Chand Bansal welcomed Sr. HR officer and team members from Era Group, New Delhi. He said that placements for students graduating in 2011 batch are in full swing and number of IT and core engineering companies are visiting RIMT to hire good talent from this region.

While having pre-placement talks, Company officials said that Era group is a 4000 crore world class engineering company into Construction & Contracts, EPC, RMC, Equipment Management, Pre-engineered buildings, Real Estate, Hospitality & Entertainment. Regarding job profile and offered package, he said that students will be hired as Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) with an annual package of 2.20 lacs per annum plus various incentives and perks as per company policies.

Recruitment process comprised of company presentation, written test, group discussion and personal interview. Finally five students were selected for joining from july 2011 and their offer letters will be sent shortly, said company official.
