RIMT- MAEC Boy bags two Golds and a silver in PTU Zonal Youth Festival

Anmol Singh, a student of B.Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering) of RIMT- Maharaja Aggrasen Engineering College, Mandi Gobindgarh brought laurels to the college when he bagged two Gold Medals, in non percussion classical music (Instrumental) and the other in classical vocal in PTU Zonal Youth Festival 2010 held at BBSB Engg. College, Fatehgarh Sahib.  He also bagged a silver medal in PTU Interzonal Youth Festival 2010 held at MIMIT, Malout in non percussion classical music (Instrumental). He has once again kept the tradition alive as he had bagged Gold and Silver medals at zonal and Interzonal levels, respectively in PTU Youth Festival 2009 also.  He owes the crown of his success to his father Ustaad Prof. Jaspal Singh. Now, along with his regular studies, he is also pursuing Bachelor degree in classical music from Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh to promote classic music.  Dr Hukam Chand Bansal, Chairman & Mr. Vijayant Bansal, Vice Chairman, RIMT Institutes honoured him and appreciated his great effort of binding cultural values with technical education. Dr. D.S. Taneja, Director, RIMT-MAEC lauded this achievement of Anmol Singh who excels in academics along with cultural activities.
