September 15, 2009 –

A team of five students led by Harpreet Khattar brought laurels for RIMT Group of Institutes, Mandi Gobindgarh by securing fourth position in the All India four-day Technical Fair "Techniche'09" organized by Indian Institute of Technology in Guwahati. The team had displayed its talent in "Houdini Act", an event of Robotics. The team leader in the second round of event "Enigma" an event of case study bagged fourth position.

Around 36 technical and Non-technical events which included various workshops on Ethical Hacking, Animation, Human Computer Interaction, Arthrobotics etc. were presented by scientists and research fellows of world fame.
 
The RIMT Group of Institutes organized a function here today in which RIMT Chairman Sh. Hukam Chand Bansal and Principal Dr. Harsh Sadawarti honoured the team members which included its leader Harpreet Khattar, Rishabh Sharma, Navneet Mittal, Jatin Kapoor & Rohit Sharma for their excellent performance in the national fair.
