RIMT- Maharaja Aggrasen Engineering College organized ‘Aagaaz-10’ a sumptuous fresher’s welcome party for the batch of engineering students in its campus. RIMT Institutes Chairman Dr. Hukam Chand Bansal was the chief guest. The dignitaries were given a floral welcome by the senior intermediate students. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dr. Hukam Chand Bansal. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the students. The party manifested youth and enthusiasm at its full flow. With pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot tapping music, began the fresher’s party with a difference. The function saw a huge participation of students in various cultural items including skit, choreography, bhangra, giddha, singing and other performances. The highlight of the evening was the ramp walk presented by the students of first year. The senior students enthusiastically participated in dances and songs bringing music and life to the whole show. The mesmerizing music, songs, flash freezing lights and the exuberant students are the defining moments in the party. The fun and frolic reached the heights of ecstasy when the band performance by SILVER CHAIR, strung the chord for the hip hop toe tapping music and the students danced in frenzy. The students who couldn’t shake a leg were busy savoring the refreshments being served during the eventful day. The event ended on a happy note. Dr. Bansal encouraged the students to excel in academics and other fields. The function ended with the words of wisdom by the Director Dr. D.S. Taneja and Principal Dr. Pritpal Singh wherein they congratulated the students for their scintillating performances and wished them luck.
