As per Department of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Punjab (Government of Punjab) notification no. 13/60/08-ITE2/3797 dated 27.08.08 based on AICTE Guidelines, ten percent additional seats are available in first year of B.Tech courses under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme for women, economically backward and physically handicapped meritorious students as per details below :

NOTE :

1. Only the residents of Punjab will be eligible for admission under this scheme.
2. Under the economically weaker category, the students whose parents’ income from all sources is less than 2.5 lac, are eligible. The candidate will have to produce the income certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar.
3. The physically handicapped category students will be considered for admission only if they produce a medical certificate issued by the concerned civil surgeon.
4. In the event of non availability of students in a specific category as above, the benefit will be given to any other candidate of other category according to merit.
5. The advertisement will appear in two leading newspapers, one in English and one in Punjabi for admission under this category.
